What’s In My Bag? | EG

When I first started my blog in April last year, What’s In My Bag was one of the first posts I composed. I loved reading these posts, and watching similar videos on YouTube. As its been over a year since I’ve done this post, I thought I’d give you an updated version!

The bag I have is this one from River Island. This is a shoulder bag in a mink colour. It has a mostly faux suede body with a faux leather contrast and the River Island gold bar. It also has pretty tassels hanging off it and a reversible strap, which has a snakeskin pattern on one side and is baby pink on the other. The bag closes with a magnetic presstud and has a zip pocket and normal pocket on the inside. This bag cost £32, which is quite expensive, but when you think of how versatile, and how pretty it is, I can justify it.

The first things that I have in my bag are my purses. Yes that’s plural. I keep my notes and cards in my holographic purse, which is from New Look. I then keep all of my silver change in this coin purse which is also from New Look. I love the holographic purse as its so quirky, yet matches my bag perfectly. The coin purse is also so cute to carry around!

The next things that I have in my bag are my phone, my lipstick and my sunglasses. I use the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipcream  in the colour 07 ‘nude-ist’ which is a pretty red toned pink. When I bought this, I thought it would be more brown toned, but it dried quite red toned. It is a very similar colour to my nyx sleek matte lip cream in ‘Cannes’.

I carry my phone around all of the time, obviously as I never know when I will need to google something, take a photo or contact someone. I have the silver iPhone 6 in 16gb. I got my case from h and m, mostly because it matches all of my clothes.

Even though Britain is infamous for the amount of rain we get, I like to be hopeful and carry my sunglasses with me. You never know when the sun may come out, and I guess carrying these large cat eyes from New Look is helpful ( if a bit optimistic ).

That all I carry in my bag with me! I definately used to carry a lot more. At one time, I actually used to carry an eyeshadow palette with me.

Do you guys have anything you always carry round? Are there any posts you’d like me to do?

Have a lovely day,

What I Bought This Weekend | EG

Once again, here we are. A Sunday evening! How quick are these weeks going? This weekend I’ve been lucky enough to go shopping a couple of times and buy some things that have been on my Wishlist for months.

First up is this top. It’s so pretty! I bought it from new look for only £5 in the sale. I had been looking at this top for a while, and I was so glad when I saw this in the sale! I picked this up in a size 12 even though, usually I’m in a size 8/10 as it does come up pretty small. It has short sleeves and is cropped with sort of frilly edging. Also, I repurchased the Garnier Micellar Water for the third time, as my others have ran out.

The next thing I got is mom jeans! I have been wanting these for so long, but being so tall, they were never in my size. Luckily, I finally managed to get them in my size, on the last chance to buy rack! After seeing these on so many blogs I decided to buy them and I really recommend them! They’re so comfy and the fact that they’re high waisted means that they’ll look really pretty with crop tops in spring and summer.

The next thing I got is this top, which I’m actually wearing right now. At first, I tried it on in the white, with red and navy stripes. I loved it but wasn’t sure whether to buy it, until I found it in the grey! Grey is my favourite colour to wear and this top is so cute and relaxed. I wore it today with my lace halterneck and Jamie jeans with superstars and it looked really relaxed, but still cute.

The last thing is the iPhone 6! I honestly can’t believe I actually own it. My contract was due an upgrade and I was finally able to get the 6! I decided to get it in silver ( mostly so it will match my outfits). I also have this marble case from h and m which was around £5.99.

Have you guys bought anything new this week?

Are there any posts you’d love me to do?

Have a lovely day!

Christmas Wish List | EG

Christmas is only four days away!!! I’m a little bit excited if you can tell. I pre put together my Christmas wish list, even though I know I won’t be getting them as I’ve already got my present. These are a few things that I really like and think are really pretty.

leaf print overlay dress- topshop

iPhone 6 silver – Apple

Adidas superstar metallic – asos

Fujifilm instax mini 8 film – Amazon

Parlour grey and silver midi watch – Olivia burton

Adidas essentials t shirt – urban outfitters

I think this dress is so gorgeous and would be really lovely with some skater shoes or boots and an oversized coat or a black denim jacket. It could be dressed up or down and I think that’s really nice.

Obviously a new phone is probably on everyone’s wishlist and with the release of the 6 and 6s Apple will obviously be getting a lot of orders. I like the iPhone 6 as its more budget friendly and being stuck on the iPhone 4s is not fun really.

These trainers were featured in my last yes please post. I just can’t get enough of them! I think they’re so pretty and add a subtle quirky touch to an outfit.

I have the pink fujifilm instax mini 8. I got it 2 years ago for Christmas but I haven’t had any film since last New Year’s Eve as I used it all and I haven’t got round to buying any,ore film so this is more of a need than a want.

This watch is so beautiful. I love grey and silver and the flowers on the face are so gorgeous. The midi dial is a nice size to because I have tiny wrists and a huge watch face would make them look even smaller!

Urban outfitters has the nicest clothes. If I always had money I would buy all of my clothes in there! This adidas top is really ladiback and neautral and would match with everything.

What’s on your Christmas Wishlist?

Have a lovely day!

April favourites | EG♡

Woah! Aprils nearly over already! Is it just me or is this year flying by? I’ve really enjoyed this month and these are a few bits and pieces I’ve been loving…

I started reading Looking For Alaska last year but then gave up on it. I’ve just got back in to it and I’m really enjoying it. I always like to have a book to read and I just finished PS,I love you x. It was really cute and a good story. I found it hard to get in to but I just carried on with it and it was really good!

I started blogging this month and already I’ve done more than I thought I would! I just enjoy it so much and love reading comments and reading other blogs! At first it really confused me but now I understand it and am getting better!

This nail varnish is my absolute favourite. I can’t express my love for this colour in words,it’s just SO pretty! It’s called ‘ milkshake ‘ and is only available during spring/summer time so I spend a lot of the year waiting for it to come out again.

I’ve been using primarks facial wipes and I’ve really noticed a difference in my skin. I never really had a cleansing routine but now these are the main part of it! My mum has also seen a huge difference in her skin too! All round a great product ( plus it’s 50 for £1 )

My iPad! Such a great piece of technology. I just love everything about it. I got it half way through April from selfridges and you can check out that post here. It’s perfect for everything from blogging to gaming.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed your April and your day!

iPad mini 3 | EG♡

Last week I ordered the iPad mini 3 in gold, as I had finally saved enough for it! It arrived yesterday and I’m so happy with it,it’s gorgeous!

I ordered it from selfridges and they sent it in a huge cardboard box. When I opened it tissue paper flowed out, looking a like a huge present! I absolutely loved the way they wrapped it, it was very thoughtful. It also came with a cloth bag with drawstrings. It was wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and hidden behind oodles of dotty tissue paper!

Once I got over the beautifulness of the wrapping, I got to the ipad! It’s such a perfect size. I also think it’s more rose gold than full on gold. It’s nice but subtle. It’s fits perfectly into its little ted baker case! I have already got a book and am well into it , so I may give a review later on. This will also make blogging a lot easier as at the mo I do it on my phone, which is hard because it’s a tiny little screen. It’ll make reading all of your lovely blogs easier!

Have a super day!
