March Beauty Favourites | EG

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening everyone! First of all, I’d like to apolgise for not posting for two weeks. I’ve been away on holiday and took a complete break from everything. Now I’m back and ready to blog again!

I will post again during midweek to make up for lost posts! This week I have my March beauty favourites for you guys, and March was a good month for me!

The first thing I’ve been loving is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I’ve only bought this recently but it has completely replaced my rimmel one. This mascara gives serious volume and lift, especially for me, someone who has to curl their lashes before and after mascara and they still drop! This has a curved wand which means it grabs everyone lash and gives it a lovely coat of mascara. It is build able and not excessive spider leg looking, which I’m sure we all want to avoid!

The second thing is the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Birthday Suit. I’ve been in so many boots stores desperately looking for a sleek counter, and when I found this, it was the last one! I picked this up on the basis of a beauty rumour I heard that it is a dupe for Dolce K by Kylie Jenner. I heard this from Mostly Meg on YouTube, and her channel is amazing, you should definately check her out! I bought this for around £4.99 and it lasts all day even through eating! I actually wore this when I went on a 12 mile bike ride and it lasted from 11:30am to around 5pm ( even with eating and cycling! )

Every blogger knows about Micellar Cleansing Water. This is so good for taking makeup off and literally gets every last bit off my skin. I bought a travel one for my holiday and it was the perfect size to pop in my bag. I actually own the biggest one too which I have nearly finished as I use it every day. It leaves my skin feeling clean and I like that it has no scent of colour because it makes it feel easier to use.

I showed this primer in my latest haul post and it is now my favourite! I would really recommend this as my makeup stays on all day, with no sign of redness! I recently went to my second Vamps concert ( it was the best night of my life ever )  and I was standing, where it obviously gets really hot. I asked my friend if I looked red and she said I was fine! If that isn’t enough to convince you, I don’t know what is. I personally have quite red, uneven skin and this primer really helps that.

The last thing, which is basically featured in every post is the Barry M Natural Glow Palette 2. This is honestly my favourite eyeshadow palette as it has a variety of colours including matte and shimmer shades. I actually use the shimmer shade as a highlighter and I’ve been complimented on it many times. It works really well as it is buildable and blend able.

What have been your guys favourite things this month? Are there any products you’d recommend?

Also do you have any posts you would like me to do?

Have a lovely day!

3 concert outfits that will last the night | EG

Whether you’ve been to a concert, are going to one or are at one, we all know that they can get hot, busy and uncomfortable. I’ve put together three outfits that will look really cute but will be comfy at the same time.

This first one is really casual. I actually own the jeans and top and they look really nice together. This vintage fila jacket is gorgeous! It’s crushed velvet and white, so it will match anything. It’s in the sale on the asos marketplace. As you probably know, your phone will always run out of charge as soon as you go to take a picture or video. This urban outfitters one is really pretty and portable!

This outfits is probably my favourite. This halterneck is in the sale at boohoo! A halterneck is great because it will keep you cool but look really nice too. Fjallkaven kanken bags are really popular and are good for posture too! If you’re like me, you’d probably have a bag full of snacks. Vans are probably the comfiest shoes ever! These old skool vans match everything and won’t hurt your feet after hours of jumping.

If you’re looking for a less casual outfit then this is the one for you. These shoes are really pretty and the lace up detail does lovely with the simply cardigan and jeans. The Bralet is from missguided, they also had it in black too. I think a simple French plait is really chic and comfortable for a concert.

What’s your favourite outfit?

Have a lovely day!

What I’ve Been Loving : Barry M | EG

Sorry that I haven’t blogged in ages. This week has been really busy. But, that means I have more great ideas stored up for you guys!

Recently I’ve got into make up a bit more and I’ve really been enjoying Barry Ms range. Boots had a 3 for 2 on the new Barry M nail varnishes. I’ve been desperate to try these and I picked the two new Autumn colours : dark side of the shroom and vengeance is wine.

Barry M claim that the nail varnishes last up to ten days without chipping. I can claim that this is true! I painted my nails last Saturday before I went to a concert and they have lasted all week and through this morning when I spent four hours with my hands in hot soapy water. I couldn’t believe it when I got home and my nails were chip free! I have used both colours and recently posted a picture on Instagram of ‘ dark side of the shroom’ which is a dark nude colour.

Vengeance is wine is quite a winter colour. It is a deep wine colour that you only need two coats of for it to be beautiful. My nails have stayed shiny all week and I’ve a lot of compliments too.

I’ve also been loving the ‘ Natural Glow Pallete 2’ This has a lot of neutral shimmers and matte eyeshadows that blend to give a really nice neautral smoky eye. I did my mums eyeshadow for when she went out and it looked really pretty. The glitter isn’t too much, it is very subtle and catches the light lovely. Also the peachy colour is great for defining brows!

What have you guys been loving?

Have a lovely day!

10 gifts for friends | EG♡

With October over *cry* it’s brings us to November. And I don’t know what you guys think, but for me that means one month until Christmas!! There’s always certain people who are impossible to buy for so I’ve made it a bit easier for you guys by making a list of lovely presents for the impossible recipients!

1- a photo album

Everyone takes photos and likes to cherish them and keep them in their phone. A better way to look at photos is to put them into an album! You could print off pictures from places you’ve been together or would like to go or pictures together and keep them all in an album. This is such a cute present as it’s cheap, thoughtful and shows you really care about them.

2- bath items

Everyone loves to smell nice right? Lush make such lovely things that make cute gifts or you could buy one of their gift boxes!

3- scrapbook

This is very similar to the photo album, in that you add photos and things, but you can also add concert tickets or passes from places you’ve been and add old cinema tickets and things.

4- personalise something

There are so many websites that you can personalise items on now. Whether it’s a phone case, mug or even wrapping paper you can make your present tailored just for that person. My favourite is the phone case as it’s something that is used all the time.

5- cosy things

Winter is freezing, especially in the uk! How about a gift of some fluffy pyjamas, a new jumper or some cute socks? All of these make lovely presents and would defiantly be appreciated.

6- mix & match

Another fun thing you could make is a hamper of items with a theme. For example you could do a pamper one with creams, nail polishes, films and face masks. You could also do a cosy night in one with chocolate, hot chocolates, marshmallows and homemade cookies!

7- jewellery

An easy and cute gift is jewellery. I love picking jewellery for friends because I can tell what they’d like. It shows personality and a personal touch.

8- join up

Why don’t you get everyone to put a bit of money in and buy a bigger present? That way you could get something like a Pandora or concert tickets. We’ve done this a lot in my group and its lovely when we put it together.

9- day out

Why don’t you treat your friend to a day out somewhere or a meal? Have they been dreaming of a shopping trip? Why don’t you pay for their travel and take them there!

10-homemade party

You could get all of your friends and people to come over and throw a surprise party! Everyone could bring presents and you could set out food and surprise your friend with treats and gifts!

suede and flowers | EG♡

Hiiiii! I know this post is set out differently and all that but I’m going to start posting a few more of my outfits as I’m in looove with clothes. I also love making my own outfits up and putting pieces together.

Suede is great for festivals and is really in this season. My favourite thing about this skirt is the zip. I love the circle at the top. It looks a lot more expensive than it was. They’re everywhere at the moment. Especially in places like topshop, asos and newlook.

My converse are sooooo old and dirty. I do prefer them to look a bit dirty rather than ‘pristine white’. Hopefully this summer I’ll get some new ones. I might go for the lower ones because I haven’t had them yet. Victoria’s Secret ‘coconut passion’ is perfect for summer because the tropical scent of coconut but is still sweet because it smells like vanilla too. It’s my favourite scent!

I think gold jewellery goes with this outfit because of the neautral colours. It stands out against the white and looks really pretty. This coin necklace is from miss selfridge and the ring is from river island. They add detail to a simple outfit.

Yay for soap and glory! This lip balm is very moisturising. I apply it at night because it can be sticky. Then, when I wake up in the morning my lips are super soft! I also apply it before using this lipstick because it can be drying. It’s from the color workshop. I’ve never heard of it before but I got it for a present. As I have dark hair and pale-ish skin it looks quite nice.

I hope you enjoyed this post! It’s a different layout and all, but don’t worry I will stick to that for other non outfit posts.

Have a lovely day!
