June Wishes | EG

Once again, I am still trying to figure out the theme I would like for my blog! I really want to create a look and content that people will enjoy, yet at the moment I feel like I’m just making posts so I can say I’ve written one. This week I’ve gathered a few pieces that I have been looking at for a while, I hope you enjoy this post.

If you have any ideas for posts you would like to see then please leave a comment below.

Yet again, Missguided has my heart. The clothes that they are bringing in are so gorgeous and get prettier every time! This month I’ve been in love with this embroidered playsuit! It’s so gorgeous, yet I have no where to wear it. I think it would be really pretty paired with some lace up flats and tights.
Next is this two tone bomber jacket. I don’t know if you can tell, but I have a thing for jackets this week. A jacket can make or break an outfit, and this one is so gorgeous and neautral; it would pair with so many colours. Missguideds quality of clothing is very high and the pieces I have from there last ages!

The next thing is also a jacket. Oops. However, this jacket is all of my dreams wrapped into one item of clothing. It is the perfect Spring lightweight jacket, even though it’s apparently summer in Britain right now. The detail of the belt and the zips is in silver which is so pretty, and for £40 this is a steal.

Another item that has been on my favourites for a while is this Morphe palette. For £18.25 you get 35 rich pigmented muted pink shades. Some are matte and some are shimmery. This is the perfect palette and has all of the colours you would need! I feel like pinks really bring out green eyes, which is what I have so this palette would be great.

The last wish is this denim jacket. After seeing youtuber and model Sophia Mitchell wearing an oversized denim jacket and velvet choker, I’ve wanted one. I think it is such a cool look and has a really chilled vibe to it. I also have a thing for th trend of lace up chokers, infact anything lace up pretty much has my heart.

Have you guys got any wishes this week? Or have you bought anything that you love? Comment below!

Have a lovely day,

Haul | EG

Over the past few weeks,I have spent alot of money. I did earn it all myself, so is there really any problem? Personally, I love shopping and looking at the newest things in, whether it be makeup, home or clothes.
Here’s a few of the things I’ve purchased over the last few weeks.

First, I’ve got to start off with my favourite purchase. I’ve been looking at Real Techniques brushes ever since I’ve got in to makeup. Most people dream of having five, and luckily I was able to get my hands on the deluxe gift set. I purchased this from tk maxx, which I actually think is my new favourite shop. These cost me just £20.99!  One of these brushes usually sells for around £15-25, so I knew I had to get these when I saw them. My favourite brush is the tapered foundation brush. I also really enjoy using the angled highlighter brush.

Another beauty item that I bought is the Barry M Flawless Colour Correctiong Primer. This is my dream primer. It claims to correct redness, smooth and mattify skin and minimise pores. I can tell you that it does all of this! I used it today and my skin had no redness and my makeup stayed matte all day. This cost me £4.99 ( I think ) and was buy one get one half price, so I also picked up a nail varnish.

The next thing I purchased was from Primark. Since its started to become sunnier I decided I would buy some more Spring tops. I picked this up for around £6 and it is a knitted tank top. It has a high square neck with thin straps and is kind of ribbed. The pattern is really pretty and the burgundy colour look great with a denim skirt or shorts.

The next thing I am extremely excited about. I think most people have heard of Brandy Melville. They sell the kind of clothes you would see on tumblr or on a polyvore board. These knitted tops from Primark are dupes for the Brandy ones and were only £6 each? I got a white and a dark grey, but they also had a striped one. These are really cute and would look great with some shorts. They are thick knitted, which means they will still keep you warm even though they are sleeveless.

Have you guys bought anything you love recently?

Have a lovely day!

Shorts 3 ways | EG

Even though it is still winter here, and yes it is freezing and yes snow is forecast, we can still dream about summer! Maybe even Spring will bring some heat? After going to town with my friends I picked up some denim shorts and months of searching for the perfect ones. I did own the topshop mom shorts, but being so tall they were too short and uncomfortable. I found some ripped dark denim shorts in miss selfridge for just £10! I would link them but they’ve gone out of stock!

I’ve put together three outfits that would be comfy and really pretty in summer.

This outfit is really pretty. Wearing trainers keeps it comfy, without loosing the look. These Roche runs and a baby pink colour and are so comfy! I’ve had this topshop t shirt since last summer, but I bought a new bright white one. It’s great if the sun is out so you won’t burn your shoulders. The shorts are really comfy and look great with the bright white of the t shirt.

This outfit is really casual. The top is from topshop and is in a raglan style. It’s really casual but still looks cool. By wearing monochrome colours, you can match anything. These skater shoes are also from topshop and are really comfy. By wearing little dolly shoe socks, it prevents your shoes rubbing or getting dirty inside.

This is definitely my favourite outfit. The halter top is from topshop and I’ve seen it on multiple you tubers and bloggers. The mustard colour looks really nice next to the denim shorts. Converse match this outfit really well because they are neautral but pull the outfit together. Converse are great if you’re walking a lot or don’t want to wear sandals.

Have you guys got a favourite outfit?

Have a lovely day!

Charles Worthington Minis | EG

Surely everyone loves to look after their hair. I’m not one myself to spend loads on the raved new product but I like my hair to look and feel nice.

Last year when I went on holiday, I used the Charles Worthington sunshine protector shampoo conditioner and spray. I found that these are such a huge difference to my hair. Usually I would come back after holiday and my hair would be frizzy dry, and fluffy at the ends. When I came back this time, it was a lot less fluffy and actually had some life. After going to the hairdressers and having it cut it looked full of life, and I swear by these products.

A year later, after feeling like my black brown hair needed to be lightened, I got highlights. The kind of caramel ones that I didn’t think I would ever be able to get! I absolutely love them, but since we didn’t use bleach and it’s a tint, there’s a high chance that they could turn yellow, and this is where the violet shampoo comes in. Everyday my friends say that my hair looks lighter, I could that it could’ve turned yellow and I knew exactly what to buy. At only £1.99 these minis have saved my hair. My highlights are a light caramel colour instead of a yellow blonde. It’s definitely because of this shampoo.

Usually at boots, they have these as 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 1 free. What with being so cheap anyway, I can’t complain.

Do you guys have any holy grail hair products? Are there any posts that you’d like me to do?

Have a lovely day!

Christmas Wish List | EG

Christmas is only four days away!!! I’m a little bit excited if you can tell. I pre put together my Christmas wish list, even though I know I won’t be getting them as I’ve already got my present. These are a few things that I really like and think are really pretty.

leaf print overlay dress- topshop

iPhone 6 silver – Apple

Adidas superstar metallic – asos

Fujifilm instax mini 8 film – Amazon

Parlour grey and silver midi watch – Olivia burton

Adidas essentials t shirt – urban outfitters

I think this dress is so gorgeous and would be really lovely with some skater shoes or boots and an oversized coat or a black denim jacket. It could be dressed up or down and I think that’s really nice.

Obviously a new phone is probably on everyone’s wishlist and with the release of the 6 and 6s Apple will obviously be getting a lot of orders. I like the iPhone 6 as its more budget friendly and being stuck on the iPhone 4s is not fun really.

These trainers were featured in my last yes please post. I just can’t get enough of them! I think they’re so pretty and add a subtle quirky touch to an outfit.

I have the pink fujifilm instax mini 8. I got it 2 years ago for Christmas but I haven’t had any film since last New Year’s Eve as I used it all and I haven’t got round to buying any,ore film so this is more of a need than a want.

This watch is so beautiful. I love grey and silver and the flowers on the face are so gorgeous. The midi dial is a nice size to because I have tiny wrists and a huge watch face would make them look even smaller!

Urban outfitters has the nicest clothes. If I always had money I would buy all of my clothes in there! This adidas top is really ladiback and neautral and would match with everything.

What’s on your Christmas Wishlist?

Have a lovely day!

Mini Haul | EG♡

I can’t stop buying things suddenly. I’ve found that shops are getting out of the summer stuff and in to the best bit… Autumn!

max factor masacara- boots

ps love liquid eyeliner- primark

lace up shoes- primark

jumper – new look

hand gel- primark

This mascara is so good! I find it keeps the curl in my eyelashes. It’s waterproof, so it’s hard to get off but it doesn’t smudge. The eyeliner was only a £1 from primark so I thought I’d try it out. It’s actually really good! It has great staying power and the brush is thin and really accurate.

I’ve been looking at shoe similar to these from asos for aggeeess but I couldn’t justify paying £28 for flats I knew would wear thin. When I saw these in primark I knew I had to have them. They also had a nude colour. I got a size smaller because the point seemed to add a lot of length. They look so pretty with skinny jeans or skirts and make it look quite sophisticated.

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I have this jumper in 3 colours. This is the most recent addition. I wore it today and it’s so so comfy and really soft. The colour is really autumnal and looks lovely with jeans and boots.

I know Christmas is ages away but I couldn’t resist having this hand gel! It smells like ginger bread and I’m in love. I love Christmas so much ( who doesn’t ) and I don’t care that I’m starting this early!

Do you have any favourites?

August favourites! | EG♡

I rarely do favourites posts but this month I feel like I have to! I have really enjoyed this month ( obviously because of the holidays ) and these are a few things that I’ve loved this month.

Victoria’s Secret bag

This bag is so cute! It’s the perfect size to carry my things that I need and the colours are gorgeous. It also has a little charm and now on the zip which is really sweet. If you guys want a what’s in my bag post I can do one for you too!

Rose gold watch- newlook

I got this for Christmas last year and wore it every day then kind of forgot about it. Recently I’ve been wearing it every day and I love it. It goes with all of my outfits and has the right amount of sparkle on it too.

Nail gems

This huge pack of nail gems was given to me by my friend for secret Santa. The colours are all lovely and match every nail varnish. I wore silver ones recently with a glitter polish and they looked so pretty.

Rommel London- brow this way

I don’t wear any makeup, but I feel like this is a must. I have thick eyebrows that never seem to stay the way I brush them. I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone. It goes on and dries clear, as my eyebrows are dark I don’t want to put any coloured gel on them. It is a really good product, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Anatomicals – no old bags allowed

I got this in the plane on my way home for just £5! You take a small bit and rub it under your eyes to reduce darkness and bags. I have really got into skincare this month and love looking after my skin. I feel like this makes a big difference, I can definitely see it in myself. For just £5 I will be repurchasing this.

Ciate nail polish & topshop exhibit nail polish

Cite is now my go to top and base coat. I have the underwear base coat and silicone top coat. Both of them are such good quality and really make my nails look like gel. I got 10 for £10 at the clothes show last December and they have all lasted really well, none of the colours have ran out yet.

Topshop exhibit is such a pretty colour. I do think it’s more of an autumnal colour, but I love it too much to wait. It stays on for ages and pretty red and purple tones in it. I can’t wait to use it again.

what have you guys been loving?
