March Beauty Favourites | EG

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening everyone! First of all, I’d like to apolgise for not posting for two weeks. I’ve been away on holiday and took a complete break from everything. Now I’m back and ready to blog again!

I will post again during midweek to make up for lost posts! This week I have my March beauty favourites for you guys, and March was a good month for me!

The first thing I’ve been loving is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I’ve only bought this recently but it has completely replaced my rimmel one. This mascara gives serious volume and lift, especially for me, someone who has to curl their lashes before and after mascara and they still drop! This has a curved wand which means it grabs everyone lash and gives it a lovely coat of mascara. It is build able and not excessive spider leg looking, which I’m sure we all want to avoid!

The second thing is the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Birthday Suit. I’ve been in so many boots stores desperately looking for a sleek counter, and when I found this, it was the last one! I picked this up on the basis of a beauty rumour I heard that it is a dupe for Dolce K by Kylie Jenner. I heard this from Mostly Meg on YouTube, and her channel is amazing, you should definately check her out! I bought this for around £4.99 and it lasts all day even through eating! I actually wore this when I went on a 12 mile bike ride and it lasted from 11:30am to around 5pm ( even with eating and cycling! )

Every blogger knows about Micellar Cleansing Water. This is so good for taking makeup off and literally gets every last bit off my skin. I bought a travel one for my holiday and it was the perfect size to pop in my bag. I actually own the biggest one too which I have nearly finished as I use it every day. It leaves my skin feeling clean and I like that it has no scent of colour because it makes it feel easier to use.

I showed this primer in my latest haul post and it is now my favourite! I would really recommend this as my makeup stays on all day, with no sign of redness! I recently went to my second Vamps concert ( it was the best night of my life ever )  and I was standing, where it obviously gets really hot. I asked my friend if I looked red and she said I was fine! If that isn’t enough to convince you, I don’t know what is. I personally have quite red, uneven skin and this primer really helps that.

The last thing, which is basically featured in every post is the Barry M Natural Glow Palette 2. This is honestly my favourite eyeshadow palette as it has a variety of colours including matte and shimmer shades. I actually use the shimmer shade as a highlighter and I’ve been complimented on it many times. It works really well as it is buildable and blend able.

What have been your guys favourite things this month? Are there any products you’d recommend?

Also do you have any posts you would like me to do?

Have a lovely day!

the past couple days | EG♡

Woah! These past few days have gone so quick and I’m super sorry I haven’t blogged for you guys! I’ve actually not stopped since thursday and now I finally have time to sit down and type!

Firstly I’ve painted my nails using:

No7 ‘in the stars’

Barry M ‘prickly pear’

Ciate ‘ underwear’ base coat

Ciate ‘silicone top coat’

At the moment this is my favourite nail varnish combination. Lilac is my favourite color! I especially love how ‘ in the stars’ looks over the top. It actually looks great over any mani though. The silicone top coat is a manicure saver! It makes them looks like gel nails and lasts for ages! I will definately be repurchasing it!

Also, on Friday I went to the NEC to see The Vamps live! It was the best concert ever! I bought 5 woven wristbands for only £6! The whole place had such a great atmosphere and everyone was singing and dancing. The support acts were Luke Friend, Union J ( from X factor uk for anyone whose confused ) and The Tide who were from America. I would definately go and see the tide again! Even though The Vamps are known as a popish band, it was definately more like a rock concert. The guitars and drums sounded great and overall I had the best night ever!

I hope to see them again!

Have a lovely day!
