Weekend Haul | EG

Hiya everyone! I’m so sorry that I haven’t blogged for two weeks, but I’ve had a lot of work to do recently, and I’ve finally gotten chance to sit down and write a post for all of you!

This week I’m going to show you what I’ve bought recently, which is quite a lot more than I usually would do as I got paid and thought I’d treat myself ( a lot )

The Shirt Dress.

The first thing I picked up was this gorgeous shirt dress, which was £19.99 from New Look. I’ve been staring at this dress for so long now, and have tried it on atleast three times. This time I tried it on, and new I had to buy it. The pattern is so gorgeous, and as grey is one of my favourite colours to wear I knew I had to get it. It was actually my friend that persuaded me to buy this, as is the case with most of these items.

Today I went into ikea, and as I walked down to the tills, I saw these three cactus sitting together and thought they were so adorable! Yet again, my friend told me to buy them and here I am adoring them. They look so cute all together on my dressing table, and for just £4.50 for all three, you can’t go wrong.

The first makeup piece I bought was the MUA moisturising primer. I have a love for primers, and thought a moisturising one would be so good as a two in one kind of product. The packaging is so simple and looks lovely in my makeup organiser and I can’t wait to use this product and test it out!

The second product I bought was the Freedom Pro Studio fixing spray. Sadly, the matte spray had ran out, which was the one I was looking for. However, at around £5 I thought I might as well try this. My makeup seems to come off easier as I have oily skin, so I thought I would try a fixing spray to see if all of the rave reviews are right.

Have you guys bought anything you love recently?

Have a lovely day,

What I Bought This Weekend | EG

Once again, here we are. A Sunday evening! How quick are these weeks going? This weekend I’ve been lucky enough to go shopping a couple of times and buy some things that have been on my Wishlist for months.

First up is this top. It’s so pretty! I bought it from new look for only £5 in the sale. I had been looking at this top for a while, and I was so glad when I saw this in the sale! I picked this up in a size 12 even though, usually I’m in a size 8/10 as it does come up pretty small. It has short sleeves and is cropped with sort of frilly edging. Also, I repurchased the Garnier Micellar Water for the third time, as my others have ran out.

The next thing I got is mom jeans! I have been wanting these for so long, but being so tall, they were never in my size. Luckily, I finally managed to get them in my size, on the last chance to buy rack! After seeing these on so many blogs I decided to buy them and I really recommend them! They’re so comfy and the fact that they’re high waisted means that they’ll look really pretty with crop tops in spring and summer.

The next thing I got is this top, which I’m actually wearing right now. At first, I tried it on in the white, with red and navy stripes. I loved it but wasn’t sure whether to buy it, until I found it in the grey! Grey is my favourite colour to wear and this top is so cute and relaxed. I wore it today with my lace halterneck and Jamie jeans with superstars and it looked really relaxed, but still cute.

The last thing is the iPhone 6! I honestly can’t believe I actually own it. My contract was due an upgrade and I was finally able to get the 6! I decided to get it in silver ( mostly so it will match my outfits). I also have this marble case from h and m which was around £5.99.

Have you guys bought anything new this week?

Are there any posts you’d love me to do?

Have a lovely day!

Haul | EG

Over the past few weeks,I have spent alot of money. I did earn it all myself, so is there really any problem? Personally, I love shopping and looking at the newest things in, whether it be makeup, home or clothes.
Here’s a few of the things I’ve purchased over the last few weeks.

First, I’ve got to start off with my favourite purchase. I’ve been looking at Real Techniques brushes ever since I’ve got in to makeup. Most people dream of having five, and luckily I was able to get my hands on the deluxe gift set. I purchased this from tk maxx, which I actually think is my new favourite shop. These cost me just £20.99!  One of these brushes usually sells for around £15-25, so I knew I had to get these when I saw them. My favourite brush is the tapered foundation brush. I also really enjoy using the angled highlighter brush.

Another beauty item that I bought is the Barry M Flawless Colour Correctiong Primer. This is my dream primer. It claims to correct redness, smooth and mattify skin and minimise pores. I can tell you that it does all of this! I used it today and my skin had no redness and my makeup stayed matte all day. This cost me £4.99 ( I think ) and was buy one get one half price, so I also picked up a nail varnish.

The next thing I purchased was from Primark. Since its started to become sunnier I decided I would buy some more Spring tops. I picked this up for around £6 and it is a knitted tank top. It has a high square neck with thin straps and is kind of ribbed. The pattern is really pretty and the burgundy colour look great with a denim skirt or shorts.

The next thing I am extremely excited about. I think most people have heard of Brandy Melville. They sell the kind of clothes you would see on tumblr or on a polyvore board. These knitted tops from Primark are dupes for the Brandy ones and were only £6 each? I got a white and a dark grey, but they also had a striped one. These are really cute and would look great with some shorts. They are thick knitted, which means they will still keep you warm even though they are sleeveless.

Have a lovely day!

Mini Haul | EG♡

I can’t stop buying things suddenly. I’ve found that shops are getting out of the summer stuff and in to the best bit… Autumn!

max factor masacara- boots

ps love liquid eyeliner- primark

lace up shoes- primark

jumper – new look

hand gel- primark

This mascara is so good! I find it keeps the curl in my eyelashes. It’s waterproof, so it’s hard to get off but it doesn’t smudge. The eyeliner was only a £1 from primark so I thought I’d try it out. It’s actually really good! It has great staying power and the brush is thin and really accurate.

I’ve been looking at shoe similar to these from asos for aggeeess but I couldn’t justify paying £28 for flats I knew would wear thin. When I saw these in primark I knew I had to have them. They also had a nude colour. I got a size smaller because the point seemed to add a lot of length. They look so pretty with skinny jeans or skirts and make it look quite sophisticated.

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I have this jumper in 3 colours. This is the most recent addition. I wore it today and it’s so so comfy and really soft. The colour is really autumnal and looks lovely with jeans and boots.

I know Christmas is ages away but I couldn’t resist having this hand gel! It smells like ginger bread and I’m in love. I love Christmas so much ( who doesn’t ) and I don’t care that I’m starting this early!

Do you have any favourites?

Have a lovely day!

my skincare | EG♡

Hi everyone! Today I have spot about my skincare. Recently I’ve been really getting in to looking after my skin. I’ve been using different products and just taking more care of it.

First I’ll wash my face using clean and clear scrub and cream in the shower. After that I splash my face with cold water to close my pores.

Once my face is dry, I apply after sun to it. I use after sun because it is a lot lighter than other moisturisers but it still locks in moisture and keeps my skin smooth.

I apply Nivea soft moisturiser to my legs and then once it has sunk in a rub doves summer glow on them. This gives the a nice colour since I’m so pale. It just makes my legs look a bit less pale.

In the morning I use primarks oil balancing facial wipes and antomicals no old bags allowed eye gel. After this I will do my hair and things like that.

Since I’ve been getting into skincare, I would like to invest in some more natural products because I’m sure adding all of these chemicals isn’t good in the long run. For short term they make my skin feel lovely, but I will definitely be buying some of lush’s natural moisturisers and cleansers.

Do you guys have any recommendations? Do you have a skincare routine?

Have a lovely day!

mini lush haul | EG♡

Recently I went to lush and bought a few things. I always find something in lush to buy as everything smells and looks great!

‘Butterball’ bath fizzer- £2.65

Lip scrub- £5

‘The comforter’ bubble bar- £4.85

‘Fluffy egg’ bath fizzer-£2.95

I picked up the butterball as I had seen it on Zoellas channel. Plus it has vanilla in ( one of my favourite scents ). It’s white has and has the lush logo on it, hope fully it’s as great as everyone says!

Aah, lush lip scrubs, famous for tasting great and making your lips smooth. I love the smell and colour of this one. It also tastes sugary sweet!

The comforter is my favourite bubble bar. I’m a sucker for sweet scents and this definately has it. Plus it’s all swirly and pretty. Just a small bit can create mountains of bubbles! I always throw in a bit extra to have more though!

The fluffy egg bath fizzer was part of the Easter range. I am yet to use it. It too smells like bubblegum and is bright pink ( kind of a pattern going on ). Plus it has a little flower on either side. I guess it’ll probably make my bath pink, which is never a bad thing.

I’ve just realised how many exclamation marks I use. Maybe a tad over excited about bath products. Oh well!

Have a sweet day!
