Weekend Haul | EG

Hiya everyone! I’m so sorry that I haven’t blogged for two weeks, but I’ve had a lot of work to do recently, and I’ve finally gotten chance to sit down and write a post for all of you!

This week I’m going to show you what I’ve bought recently, which is quite a lot more than I usually would do as I got paid and thought I’d treat myself ( a lot )

The Shirt Dress.

The first thing I picked up was this gorgeous shirt dress, which was £19.99 from New Look. I’ve been staring at this dress for so long now, and have tried it on atleast three times. This time I tried it on, and new I had to buy it. The pattern is so gorgeous, and as grey is one of my favourite colours to wear I knew I had to get it. It was actually my friend that persuaded me to buy this, as is the case with most of these items.

Cactus.

Today I went into ikea, and as I walked down to the tills, I saw these three cactus sitting together and thought they were so adorable! Yet again, my friend told me to buy them and here I am adoring them. They look so cute all together on my dressing table, and for just £4.50 for all three, you can’t go wrong.

Makeup.

The first makeup piece I bought was the MUA moisturising primer. I have a love for primers, and thought a moisturising one would be so good as a two in one kind of product. The packaging is so simple and looks lovely in my makeup organiser and I can’t wait to use this product and test it out!

The second product I bought was the Freedom Pro Studio fixing spray. Sadly, the matte spray had ran out, which was the one I was looking for. However, at around £5 I thought I might as well try this. My makeup seems to come off easier as I have oily skin, so I thought I would try a fixing spray to see if all of the rave reviews are right.

Have you guys bought anything you love recently?

Are there any blog posts you would like to see?

Have a lovely day,

Grace X

Wish List | EG

I feel like I haven’t done a wish list in an extremely long time. Considering the amount of time I spend gazing into shop windows or uhm-img and aah-ing over clothes that I can’t afford, a wish list is kind of expected. Today I’ve gathered a few things that I like at the moment ( and might even own hopefully! )

The first thing is this gorgeous playsuit from Missguided. After seeing this on Sarocha B’s channel on YouTube ( which I would definitely recommend because her blog and YouTube are my favourite! ) I fell in love with it! It’s really pretty and would match a lot of things, since it is black and white. I’ve recently bought some adidas superstars which would look really nice with it. For £25 it is a bit pricey but is definately worth it as it is very neutral.

When I went to town the other, I stumbled across this suede bomber jacket from New Look I fell in love. It is quite a light beige, which means it will go with a lot of outfits. It is also a really soft suedette, as real suede would not be £34.99. Although it’s not practical, it is really chic.

Ariana Grande has recently released her Viva Glam collection. There is a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ product. The ‘good’ product is a light pink lipgloss, supposedly showing off your angelic side and the ‘bad’ product is this deep plum colour, made to represent the darker side of yourself. I think this is a really clever idea and represents arianas style chance too. I personally like the lipstick, as I don’t like lipgloss or really pink colours. I’ve never owned a Mac product, but I would love to.

The next thing is this jumper, which I also saw when I saw the jacket. It is a high neck oat coloured jumper. The petite version is down to £14.39 in the sale. It’s so pretty and would look really nice with some jeans and trainers or boots.i think this is my most likely purchase out of my list.

These nails were on Sierra Furtados Instagram. I love Sierras style, and she is one of my favourite youtubers. I’ve never had acrylics before and have been looking for inspiration and these are by far my favourites. As I am going on holiday in a few weeks, I might get acrylics for the first time!

Have any of you guys had acrylics? What’s on your wish list?

Have a lovely day!

Today’s buys | EG♡

Today me and my family went out for a meal and shopping! My dad really isn’t a fan of it so we had to be super quick. We went to Carluccios for dinner and I had a lasagne! Then we went shopping and I got a few things.

high neck top – new look £5

metallic transfer tattoos – new look £3.99

floral navy parker coat – asda £20

I love the high neck top trend, and I have finally found one I like! This one is grey which matches a dress that I already have. The tattoos were definitely inspired from yesterday’s post. I can’t wait to use them. The coat was in the sale and it’s lovely! The inside of it is floral and its navy on the outside. I’m going on holiday soon and this will be perfect for it.

Hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!

my favourite shops | EG♡

One of my favourite things to do is shopping. Yes it’s an expensive habit, and yes I do normally buy quite a lot. I do enjoy going out for the day to look around though. As much as others hate it, I love it.

I really like going to miss selfridge for jewellery as they have lots of it. I usually wear small, dainty pieces as big jewellery looks a bit stupid on me. I also love going to the miss selfridge sale and I’ve picked up quite a few good pieces from there that have became my favourites.

Lush. Where do I begin? Natural ingredients, no animal testing, bright colours, great smells. The list could go on for ever! I have recently been getting into lush a bit more. A few years ago I went quite a lot, now I’m picking that habit up again. There’s something for everyone in there. They have products for all types of hair and skin. It’s generally a great place! Plus the staff are always super nice.

I think new look is great for tops. I always find myself trying on armfuls of them. They are always up to trend but there prices are a lot lower than topshop. They also have great jumpers. My local new look even has a Starbucks, bonus!

My first ever purchase from topshop shop was a pair of desert boots. I fell in love with them. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. It is quite pricey but the clothes last sooo long. I haven’t brought myself to buy any jeans from there, as £36 is way out of my budget. My favourite piece from there is a fluffy ‘boyfriend’ style coat, that I picked up for £50 down from £79. I wear it all the time and I know it will last years.

River island is also great for jewellery. It has a small price tag but the stuff in there is gorgeous! The jewellery is quite dainty and easy to wear with anything, I love it! I also like their slogan tops. ‘ too glam to give a damn ‘ is my favourite so far.

Primark! Hallelujah for cheap fashion! I get my jeans from here, and I’ve also just bought a lovely bikini. Pyjamas are also great. Once I was in primark with my mum for 2 hours. I think that explains our obssesion.

Well that was a long post! If you got to the end of this, well done!

Have a brilliant day!
